APHRODITE (A-fro-DYE-tee), Roman name Venus, Goddess of Love, Beauty and Fertility…protectress of sailors.
Had I been too caught up in my work to notice or has there been a drastic change in trends in terms of starting a relationship? Well, suddenly guys seem to be too in a hurry to get there. I understand that we now live in the cyberworld and are reacting to the convenience of hi-tech gadgets and keeping up with the pace….but whatever happen to good old fashioned-courtship?:p
My earliest childhood exposure to romance on the silver screen might consist of The Sound of Music but no, I’m not a hopeless romantic. Neither am I conservative. We are talking about something priceless here. Men couldn’t comprehend why you would want to wait so long.
Some guys thought if they used the right approach and sustained it for a period of time, they’d get it. It’s NOT about strategy and persistance. This is not the army where you can backtrack, re-group and plan the next operation:D
What’s more, the average human lifespan has increased to 80, so what’s the hurry?:)
COME ONNN, guys! Culture and religion aside, do you really think that we would all give in eventually? Seriously?;)
To my comrades out there who had waited, hope it was worth it. After all, it was Venus who pursued Adonis, and not the other way round;)
