It’s now midnight
30 June 2006 signifies the end of chapter one
It has been a season of sorrow
I’ve shed more tears in the last 6 months
Than I did in my whole lifetime
2006 arrived promising the sweetest gifts
But I lost it all within January
More and more heart-wrenching tales unfold
Tales of loneliness
Tales of sadness
Tales of vanishing hopes
And I watched my dreams turned to ashes
Today witnesses the pages turning
The second chapter glides
A new visitor enters my life
Will the rain stop
Will the sun shine again
Will flowers bloom
Will rainbow fly
May the pages be written with love
May the pages be illustrated with happiness
May the pages see my dreams coming true
