Closing Doors

There are 5 common ways of closing the door:
1.Closing it after a polite nod and kind words, Mr Manners
2.Closing it after delivering crystal-clear finishing words and cut-like-a-knife parting gesture, Mr Gentleman - MY FAVOURITE
3.Closing it quietly and sneakily after diverting your attention somewhere else, Mr Snake
4.Stop opening it without telling you that it has actually been closed, Mr Vague
5.Closing it by putting up an ‘Occupied’ sign before subtly directing you there to see and find out for yourself, Mr GUT-LESS - THE WORST
What disappoints me was not the news itself, he was no more than a ghost to me at this stage. It was the manner that it was unveiled, how cowardly:p
Interestingly, I’ve never had a door slammed in my face before though. Hmm… maybe it’s like the modern saying: ‘Never fail means that you haven’t taken enough risks’;)
