Deria
November 30, 2006 by haziamyperspective
~An extract from my work-in-progress novel , based on a true story of my life from Oct’05 to Oct’06~
Thought I re-visit the manuscript for my first novel today; I left it unattended for a while. I wanted to try out the various tips and techniques acquired during my 10-week creative writing course before going back to it.
The manuscript refreshed certain memories. Hope I’m not repeating the same mistake. Ad said that cyber-interaction would only enable him to know like only 20 to 30% of me. That was a surprise, thought I’ve poured everything out already.
He said a meeting would allow him to see the inside of me, give him more details on my family, etc. Hmm…I thought a meeting is more about seeing the ‘packaging’, as you’re already familiar with the ‘product’. Family details…well..I sort of know his family. If I give him any more information on my family and better still, rope the troop in, let’s say ’sure jadi punya ni’;). Cuma malas ajer:p. No wonder I never get anywhere. Like my auntie said, "Lembab…" Hehe.

The way i see it.i agree the touch or feel or look of things are diff on the net.but…sometimes or most of the time the five senses dont really function in real time…as if everythings on auto…the sixth one will alert u most when danger or something good amidst… u know what i’m talking bout its mostly on mondays we are like zombies…or on a bad date, boring company all those mundane stuffs….
anyways…when someone says on the net that meeting u in person will allow him to see the inside of u…hmmm theres something corny bout that sentence….. u believe what u want to believe….
sometimes it takes a sentence or a look or a smile …. to make u think u’d known someone forever…. thats my uneducated stagass opinion.
hee hee the sixth sense always triggered when u’r not looking…..when things handed to u on a silver plater u tend to look elsewhere….hee hee… maybe its just me…anyhow.. anyhow…what do i know anyway….hee heee all the best for ya book.
Hehehe…Thanks.
I know what u mean. I do think he’s very meticulous. For me, I’d know immediately, no need for a series of ‘interviews’. I guess it’s different for a person majoring in psychology/HR;)
