A ‘Vomitting’Experience
February 24, 2007 by haziamyperspective
I babysat my 1-year old baby niece for the first time today. My brother and sister in law were attending a company’s annual dinner. My sister in law’s 15-year old sister was also around as my niece is familiar with her; she spends weekdays with her grandparents in the kampung.
My niece was having a cough. So, not long after she felt asleep, she coughed and woke up crying. My sister in law had just fed her. They were still around but my sister in law was praying. So, I picked her up, hugged her and rubbed her back to comfort her. Big mistake!!!
She started vomitting. At first I thought it was only flam. To my horror, it went on and on. Before I knew it, my caftan
was drenched in vomit from shoulder to ankle. She also vomitted on my face and hair. And my mobile phone too. Yeah!!! My brother was there when it happened but all he did was rushed to get some tissues. He’s not ‘baby-savy’, unlike my younger brother.
Only then did my action button ring. I quickly carried her to the sink, trying my best to prevent the mess from dripping onto the carpet as I ran. At that time, she was wailing and I was screaming too (excuse me, my face was covered with semi-diggest baby food). LOL!
Luckily, my sister in law finished praying then. She took my niece to the bathroom to clean her up. I rushed to the other bathroom to wash and change. My brother took my clothes and threw them into the washing machine.
Looking all dry and pretty in her fresh nightie, the little cherub giggled at me. I pretended scolding her for not telling me that she had to throw up.
What a day. I later found out that a similar incident also happened to her grandmother recently. Okay, so it could happen to a pro too, it didn’t reflect my inadequacy in any way. LOL!
Boy, I couldn’t imagine having 5 kids. LOL!

5 kids? i want 10 kids man imagine that COOL RITE!! lol
You can start by babysitting your at d nearest nursery for 6 months, heheh…
