Cyber Playground

I’ve just added a new friend on msn chat today. I knew her as we met during my friend’s birthday party a week ago. However, her online sign on, Brain Tease, didn’t reflect her name at all, so I was a bit wary. I asked her to give me her name first thing. LOL!
Yeah, I’ve stopped chatting with strangers. The risk of finding friends on the cyber playground was endless. Nowadays, I only chat with people whom I’ve met in real life. Apart from my American penpal, Sammy, that is.
The last stranger that I’ve chatted with was Ace, who contacted me the day after I found that conclusive evidence on Ad. He claimed to be an Indian guy from India working as a Human Resource Executive for an oil & gas company in Middle East (Saudi Arabia). Okay, he happened to have 4 similarities with Ad @ MDP @ Al, except that this person was younger and was in a much junior position.
How do I know it wasn’t him? Well, he knew it was me, he had my hotmail address and my photo was there.
Anyway, this Ace fellow was really pushy, asking me why I was always rushing off somewhere. I highlighted my love for travel in my profile. He spoke as if he was under the delusional notion that we’d be travelling together at some point of time. Eeewww!
I created a Question & Answer mode and said he could ask me what he want to know. I expected him to fire 1 question after another, but the gap was too long and he couldn’t even keep it up for more than 5 minutes. ”Thinking pauses’ annoyed me. So, I told him ‘time out’, got to go.
Finally, a few days later, I blocked him. So, he
couldn’t contact me anymore, hehe…Hmm…come to think of it, he couldn’t be Ad @ MDP @ Al. The rythym was totally off. This guy was also too boring . LOL!
On a separate note, I’ve just rsvp for an event at Midvalley at the end of this month. Initially, I was a bit hesitant on going, MDP’s office was located there.
I then told myself that I wasn’t going to let him stop me from going anywhere. So what if I bumped into him? Maybe it would even give me a chance to throw him those few questions that are still bugging me until now. For all that we know, he may even run away at the sight of me. LOL!
