Black or White

People have been trying to tell me this for a while already but the recent incidence just now made me realised that when it comes to matters of the heart, I am in fact, conservative.
I would only date a guy who is ‘truly single’ with a potential of a romantic relationship blossoming somewhere along the way. And by date, I meant one guy and one girl with an interest in each other.
In a social context, I don’t go out one-to-one with guys as ‘just friends’, with the exception of guys that I’d known from my childhood and student years.
Hence, there’s no such thing as ‘Let’s go out as friends.’ But I am okay with, ‘Let’s see each other for a while and see where it takes us.’ If it doesn’t work out, then it doesn’t work out. But I need an objective in mind.
I don’t just go out with guys for the sake of passing time. And I don’t flirt with ‘just friends’ guys. And I don’t flirt with simply anybody, only the privileged ones:p. Easily put, why hang around at the railway station if you have no intention of embarking on a trip together.
‘Truly single’ meants 1) Legally 2) Socially and 3) Emotionally.
I definitely do not go out one-to-one with a married man, an engaged man, one who is already in a relationship and one with his heart still belonging to someone else (after a break up).
In my dictionary, everything is either black or white. I don’t even entertain the grey areas. To me, grey is just a line to move from 1 colour to the other, but not to sit and procrastinate on.
So, in a nutshell, yes, I am a serious and straight forward person, okay? I don’t like to complicate matters:p.
p/s: Gosh, it took me 3 hours to tackle whatever issues this guy has, it better be worth it. I hope he didn’t get a culture shock from my no-nonsense approach though. He might think that he was the ‘orang kampung’, but I was still more conservative. LOL!
