Pounding Dime

A late dinner with a friend at our usual Mamak’s place last night gave me an idea. She said why not try making a career switch to a branding agency. This would be a refreshing change where I could still utilise my PR experience. Now, that is a thought. I should give it a try.
On her side, in between jobs, she was looking for something more flexible. Perhaps a 3-day a week job where she would still have time to do freelance work for copywriting. She said she needed that space, structured working environment didn’t suit her.
How I wish I could do the same. If only one could earn a living solely from writing in this country. From the way things look, there is no way I could let go of my full time job, ever.
