Little Chef

I actually am not a fan of animated movies. However, 3 people have strongly asked me to watch Ratatouille - a publisher, my course instructor and my Adik. 1st one said it was a good movie. 2nd one said it reminded him of me and my short stories, what’s with the brigade of chefs. 3rd one said that was where he got the quote - ‘Not everyone can become a great artist but a great artist can come from anywhere.’
So, on my day off just before Ramadan, I went to catch the show at MidValley. It was during office hour, so there was only less than 10 people in the theatre, I think. This strange man sat next to me and started asking questions about the show. Oh boy, if I had wanted a companion, I’d ask someone to come along. So, I gave him very curt replies. He must be uncomfortable because he changed
seat far, far away after that. LOL!
The movie was fun and imaginative but I was glad to learn that it was nothing like my Chefs’ stories. Both the serious ones and the lighter ones. Well, I didn’t want to be seen as getting my inspiration from the movie, because I didn’t. Hehe…
